My husband and were fortunate to be living in the Windsor/Eton area of the United Kingdom for the last 6+ months.  It was a coincidence that we were going to be here during the Royal Wedding.  Initially, we thought maybe it would be best to leave the area altogether due to the large mass of people coming in for this historical event.  Fortunately we decided to stay.  It was a beautiful celebration and we were right in the middle of all of it.

Leading up to the big day, I walked around and met people, talking to people from all over the world who came to see history unfold.  I documented the event with my camera and came away each day with a variety of fun images showing what a beautiful celebration this was.

On the big day, my husband and I made our way to a friend's flat with a balcony view over Windsor High Street.  We had a great view of the Prince and his new bride as they went on the carriage procession.
